Stopped for soda and there was a long line when I went to check out but they were pretty good about getting people through quickly.

Convenient but often crowded

Lottery machine scratch offs would not accept money into machine.

I visited Hess as a quick stop for drinks as I was driving around doing errands. Everything was clearly labeled which made finding what I wanted very easy. The checkout line went quickly and the service was satisfactory. The only negative I can say is that there were a couple guys outside smoking, which is fine, but maybe the ashtray could be on the outside corner of the store instead of right in the middle where everyone has to walk through to get into the store.

Convenient

Hess is always clean, and the people are always friendly. I would rate them third behind Wawa and Racetrac for my area. (Ahead of Circle K and 7-11). This trip I was especially pleasantly surprised with the Dunkin' Donuts section where I got a nice little snack.
