Forgot to use my Speedy card how can I add my points?

I went to put air in a nearly flat tire and knew their air pumps take credit card. I did not have cash and the ATMs inside cost too much in service fees. I swiped my card a couple of times and the air never turned on. The machine kept saying coin. So I assume the credit card part was broken but there was no sign. This is very inconvenient because a lot of people use these for emergencies. I was not very happy and had to find a different gas station.

I stood forever at the counter waiting for someone to come to the register. I didn't get a hello or an apology
