i just went in like 3 times to use the bathroom during a tournament, some stalls were dirty, it was alright, better than all the other places, FAR BETTER

Gas too expensive

I actually did purchase food on this stop, but it was prepackaged (beef jerky), rather than sandwiches breakfast made in house, or fountain drinks. I chose this Valero because I was driving between Houston and Austin and needed a restroom break. This particular Valero was in a nice location and was well attended/well traveled, which is important to me when I travel solo. I went to the restroom, and while it wasn't dirty (it was actually relatively clean), the stall I chose smelled awful, which kind of dampened the visit. Additionally, it appeared that only some of the soap dispensers and sinks worked. Luckily, I found the right ones. When I went to buy my jerky, the attendant seemed...neither friendly nor rude, but more so ready to be done with me (no one else was at the counter, but there were plenty of people in the store). I paid and left. Overall, the location was good, the selection was good, and I'd go back. Give people the benefit of the doubt. It could have been an off day.
