It's a gas station!!

I had a $25 gift card and he asked me to swipe it so I did. He laughed and said it didn't go through. I said maybe I need to activate it he said lets try again so I let him do it. He claimed it didn't go through. I went ahead and paid with my regular debit card and went on with my day. Later on I logged in to the Gift Card account and to my surprised the money was gone and when checked the location where the money was taken out and it stays that it was at this location. Very dishonest man he is! I heard some people saying something about it but I didn't believe it until now. I know it's $25 but the fact that he can't be trusted is what upsets me.
