Dreams - Uddingston

My husband and I are retired and we really needed a new bed as ours was purchased some 9 years ago! We went 9 miles away to Birkenshaw at Uddingston Glasgow and we were greeted by a lovely person called Katrina who went out of her way to help us. I suffer very badly from Spinal Stenosis which is exceedingly painful and I average 2-3 hours sleep a night so you see I was looking for a really good bed that meets my needs. Katrina spent time patience and good understanding of our needs. We spent time testing out the mattresses and decided on Therapur act gel plus harmonic 2200 k mattress with 2 drawer base and a beautiful grey headboard she let us try the tempur cloud pillows and I defy anyone to leave the shop without making a purchase. After all this purchase I live in hope that I will be able to get a decent night's sleep.

Having worked within the service industry for many years, I am very particular about customer service experience for the end consumer; I have to say Lesley delivered a masterclass during our visit and was undoubtedly a major factor in us making a purchase during our visit. Even form the point that I call ahead to check that the branch was open, her demeanour was pleasant and helpful; on arrival at the store, by chance, it was also Lesley who greeted us and it really only got better from there. Her personable approach aside, Lesley demonstrated all the desired characteristics that I would look for in someone assisting me in a purchase - knowledgeable, objective, relatable, and most importantly, NOT pushy! We went in with an idea of which mattress we'd likely end up purchasing eventually. We came out having made a purchase which actually ended up saving us money, even after buying extras such as bedding and pillows! All thanks to honest, impartial, friendly advice from Lesley. Give this woman a rise!!
