Dreams - Gloucester

Went to Benson beds and sale man looked down on us due to my work wear and our 3 boys all under 10 eagerly looking at the beds,went to dreams store gloucester and Shaun was brilliant, have us all the knowledge he had and even had time for our kids, he and his team were excellent 80% of why we bought fro.dreams was down to them.

Staff available all the time - we were free to roam but the staff member was always available to advise and her knowledge of the products and guiding us to the right solution was superb.

Shaun the assistant greeted us and asked our requirements, and gave us information of suitable beds. He was alone in the store, but kept checking that we were ok between dealing with other customers. He explained the differences between the different mattress types, and gave us plenty of time to test them without pressuring us in any way. He also showed us the Tempur experience beds, which persuaded us to choose that particular brand. We eventually chose a complete ex display bed, and my mother in law chose a single bed, and she was very pleased to be able to mix and match base, mattress and headboard to get the exact bed she wanted. She was unable to get the ottoman base with the mattress she wanted at the other local stores. Shaun also dealt with a rather rude and impatient customer very professionally while we were arranging payment, and apologised to us for the inconvenience. (It wasn't, and we were happy to see the man leave.) All in all a very happy shopping experience.

We have 5 year old twins and we had dragged them out after tea to look at mattresses as it was the only time we had to pop in. Shaun was really helpful and very patient with the children who, if they weren't trying all the beds out, we're constantly interupting asking for a snack, a drink, the toilet...the list goes on! Apart from this though...Shaun guided us on which mattress would be best for us and we eventually reached a decision just before closing time and he stayed open a bit longer to complete our order which we were very grateful for and saved us having to make another trip or a phone call. We were informed of all our options but didn't feel pressurised into buying any of the extras though I think we'll be back for some of the pillows soon. I'd really like our mattress sooner but only cause I can't wait to sleep on it! :-)

Liked the store. visited it twice, and on the second occasion was to place the order. On each occasion, we didn't feel that we were being chased around the store, to get a sale, but were able to speak to staff if we needed help. Both members of staff were very helpful. We also spoke to a third member of staff, which was the Manager, and found him to be very pleasant, and helpful.. We haven't received our order yet. so can't comment on the condition of the item ordered.

Dreams colleague name was James. A Highly polished employee with a reassuring and polite pleasing manner. At no time did he falter in his duties of offering an exceptional service to my wife and I. It really made our day and experience of visiting dreams a pleasurable and memorable one...the things that "DREAMS" are made of. well done James and thank you for your friendly attitude and general outlook on life...reassuring and a breath of fresh air in the sector you work in. OUTSTANDING.

we were extremely happy with JAY the salesman. Not pushy like some, but made it known he was there to help. Humorous and knowledgeable in equal doses. More than satisfied with his customer service from start to finish. So good he even had our order ready before we'd made up our mind on what our purchase was going to be.
