Due to the Cheltenham branch having closed recently had to travel over to Gloucester which is not as local. That is the only reason I am only satisfied not highly satisfied!

We spent a bit more than we would have liked but understand we had to try mattresses in store before making a decision on whether to buy something elsewhere online for a cheaper price.

A little more flexiblity with pricing for multiple items woulkd be a bigger incentive

James who did the transaction with us was lovely and did really well considering he had no system. However the fact that we were made to do our order manually as though the store manager wanted to rush us out was not ideal. The store manager was very pushy and not understanding about anything.

I remain to be convinced that the device for measuring a person’s needs in terms of a mattress is anything more than a sales gimmick. I saw no detailed readout, other than the recommended mattresses, and could have guessed myself that one heavy person and one light person would be best suited with a medium mattress. Also, when being giving details of the old mattress collection service it was not mentioned that I would have to return to the store to collect a mattress bag, or that I would be required to bag the mattress prior to collection. Neither of these issues is particularly onerous, though I accept some might find them so, and not mentioning this seemed another slightly devious piece of salesmanship.

Stood looking at beds for 30 minutes with no offer of assistance, had to go full length of shop to ask for help, then quoted incorrect price verbally for mattress and was£30 more once invoice was created

After deciding what product we wanted, being aware there were no discounts, we asked if free pillows could be thrown in and the advisor (Alan) said "I am sure there was something we can do", we then sat down to place the order and a 5%discount was added to the order that did not even cover one free pillow. Although he did not specifically say "yes" to free pillows he led us to believe he could. In addition to this, it was very apparent Mrs Luckett was paying, Mrs luckett would be there on delivery of the items but without asking, Alan put all of the information in Mr Lucketts name. This is not the 50's the man is not always a lead and although it is not a problem, simply asking what name instead of making a sterotypical presumption would have been a better approach. Surely the order should be placed in the name of the person paying.

1. TV advertisement and sign on wall in shop is misleading and does not say there is a charge of £40 to collect old mattress. 2. We spent £559 in the shop on one mattress (as pensioners it was a lot of money for us to fork out) and was not even given a courtesy free pillow. We could understand if the mattress had been a lot cheaper.
