Firstly when I called to make the appointment ,it was quick and easy. I was bringing my 83 year old mum who has a cognitive disability and the sales person; Shaun, getter us and my mum by name - he’s smiled using open body language which immediately put my mum at ease. He could see mum was finding the masks difficult and he gave empathy without compromising cover requirements. He explained the process of using the machine to establish mums best mattress type but he did so at a pase which mum could engage with also. We all understood what the machine was going to do then he replaced the outcomes of the assessment but while the machine was working he didn’t stay with us he gave mum some breathing space. We then tested the mattress different types . He swapped mattress depths so mum could try different combinations. This is the first time since lockdown that mum has been out to a shop and bearing in mind her disability we were there two hours in total and she was very comfortable. Shaun offered us drinks and when placing the order thoroughly cleaned the mouse etc. He explained what was included , our options etc .
