Dreams - Truro

To be honest Dreams was the last place we had thought of to look at beds but the service was very friendly and professional. The mattress was identical to one we had planned to buy at John Lewis but better on price . Overall we were very impressed

When i first arrived I was spoken to straight away but not approached straight away. When Austin did he answered and asked questions to help guide me to what I wanted and looking for then theft me to it for a while but said he would be back in a bit to see how I was doing. He left me for a good 10 minutes to wonder and try mattresses. Which was a perfect time I felt. Then returned and gave more knowledge and advice of products and left again. He returned again when he noticed me getting my bag sorted but to ask how I was doing, no pressure to purchase even though I was going to; which in a way helped me want to purchase . He was so very helpful and gave me knowledge about knowing what was best I hadn't thought of before which was so very helpful. He was full of information that I needed but I didn't at any point feel pressured or that he was looking to pressure sell. I've worked in show rooms so I know how some can be. He was great and the service and atmosphere in the store was comfortable in every way! hahaha. I am so happy with my purchase I can't wait. Im so glad I went and so very pleased with the relaxed but supportive sales approach. Thank you Austin. :)

Friendly, knowledgable service from Austin at the Truro branch of Dreams. Explained clearly all the different beds and options to us.

Lucy was extremely friendly as was her colleague. Nothing was a problem. She understood what I needed, made me a coffee, which was great as my nearest Dreams is 40 miles away in Truro, so having seen the bed I was interested in i had to drive that distance to try the bed as you have no branches in PLymouth and I live in Liskeard 23 miles from Plymouth. She helped me understand how your bed samples were laid out, let me take my time without standing over me , but she was also always there if I needed her. She explained my purchase and helped with the divan colour . I have recently lost my partner/husband of 34 years, and I have had to go part time, but I need a decent bed and I have had a terrible year moving an old double bed from my old home to a rental and into my new place so this purchase is important. I came to Dreams on the recommendation of a couple of friends and although I felt I could afford such an expensive bed, I think that I need to realise that a bed is extremely important and if it's comfortable and well made, then it will make learnign to sleep without him alone easier and Lucy made my purchase very easy, which is something I have not felt in stores. Thanks

Still awaiting delivery - due next Tuesday - but otherwise everything was fine.

The salesman was extremely helpful patient knowledgeable. At no point did I feel rushed.

The assistant, Lucy, did everything she could to assist us with the purchase without any sales pressure. (including two nice cups of coffee.

Easy to follow the guide and prices

I was assisting my sister-in-law to purchase a new bed, headboard, duvets & pillows. Due to a stroke some years ago she has mobility and comprehension problems. We were looked after by a delightful and extremely helpful assistant called Lucy. It was a highly emotional experience for my sister-in-law as her husband (my brother) passed away very prematurely last December hence one of the reasons she wanted to change the bed and the fact it was pretty ancient. Lucy was kindness itself and we could not have wanted more patient and knowledgeable help in making decisions.

Having explained my health needs the assistant was very helpful showing me the correct mattress, the price was well discounted, easy to arrange delivery.
