Was initially asked twice if we needed help when walking through the door by the same person, but once we'd had a look around, a new person was nearby and didn't thrust herself on us like the first person did. Following this she explained the details of the bed we were looking for and explained about extras (some of which we took), and then pointed us to a reduction in pillows and duvets, which we were going to buy elsewhere, but which were under offer here. Friendly, helpful and polite.

Charlton store was set perfectly, the costumer service was excellent. Not a bad brew either.

My experience was not bad however when I visited the store I felt I had made an effort to be prepared and conducted some research that some customers would not do. I had previously used the "Sleep Match" system within the same store at the start of the pandemic to understand what mattress type (Medium-Firm) would suit me. Before entering the store I had shortlisted around eight different mattresses within my budget using the Dreams website, however when an employee spoke to me I was a little disappointed to find only one out of the eight I had shortlisted was available to try instore, plus another additional alternative and comparable mattress not originally shortlisted was also available to try. No where on the website did it say that these mattresses were website exclusives. I can imagine some customers being irritated by making the journey to a store only to be unable to try them. The only very minor nitpicking complaint would be that despite the size of the store, there only seemed to be around three staff members available, which meant there's an unspoken expectancy to "float" around for 15 or so minutes before you're able to ask for help as the other staff will be busy.

The colleague who served was overall was brilliant but I went online the next day to have a look at our bed to refresh my memory and it said 20% off on all frames & mattresses - we got a divan and I did not realise this isn’t classed as a frame (a base of a bed is a base of a bed to me it’s just something the mattress goes on) but if I had of been told about the 20% off I would have been more likely to have a look at more of the beds also the pillows were advertised as £85 when we got home we realised we were charged £99 for them ? This hasn’t been sorted as yet
