Dreams - Colchester

We were greeted on arrival at the store by Liam at the Tollgate Store in Colchester who gave us time to browse and asked us to let us know if we needed assistance. We asked to use the sleep monitor system for 4/5 minutes to ascertain which type of mattress we required. The result was exactly what we thought we needed and Liam helped us throughout to help us find the correct mattress for our sleeping pattern.

The gentleman who served us, sorry I wish I could recall his name, was very attentive, patient and knowledgeable. He didn’t come across as over friendly, more matter-of-fact, and whilst at first this seemed off putting, it became clear that he was very professional, concise with answers, didn’t give personal opinions (which was great as I hate sales staff telling me what they like or don’t like) and didn’t waste our time. The store was bright and well presented. The man often replaced the pillows after we had tried various beds - showing he was keen on the store looking good at all times. We paid by card and so it was a swift process. Liked the fact there wasn’t reams of paperwork - all for saving the trees. Well done! Impressed we have already received an exact delivery date. Fingers crossed the date is met. But what it does is already allow us to plan our day so someone can be at home to receive it. Let’s hope the date doesn’t change. The best bit however was the sleepmatch bed. It was great to get some ‘scientific’ input to what should be best for me and my wife. This is what I will recommend to friends. All in all, so far a very pleasant purchasing experience.

Amanda the associate was helpful without being over the top, if i am approached in a shop i normally switch off but she gave us the pamphlet stating colours re different mattresses

Amanda who helped us was very nice and went through a lot with us even though it was just a bed for my 5 year old.

We were welcomed into the store by Amanda, who was very polite , curtious and helpful. She answered all the questions we had, and certainly knows her job well. We were offered a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits, which was extremley nice of the staff. Amanda offered me the chance of using the special bed with the machine that showed where l would benefit the special points on my body that would give me a decent good nights sleep, this helped a lot, and l choose the bed recommended to me. It is nice to be greeted by such pleasant staff with the knowledge that they have on their work and that they actually showed they enjoyed working for DREAMS.

Tony the Store Manger was extremely helpful and knowledge on the products and what would be best for my needs. Other members of staff were also very friendly. The delivery time was quick and efficient, doing exactly as they said they would.

TonyR was very helpful and pleasant to talk to.He demonstrated the machine beds which identified our mattress requirements. Very well done.

Liam was extremely helpful without being pushy, available when we needed help and let us have our own space when we were discussing and trying out beds, the choice was easier than anticipated and took much less time than we had allowed - well done!
