Dreams - Colchester

Firstly I tried to support our local bed store but they were too expensive for the range they had available in the shop. Drove to Colchester and visited Dreams for the first time, absolutely brilliant from the safety measures, to the great sales advisor who was very knowledgable. I had a small budget for a replacement mattress for our guest room and I couldn't believe the choice of mattresses and value for money. After testing several beds we decided on the more expensive mattress from the yellow range. Could not fault a thing, even free delivery and only have to wait a few days for mattress. I will definitely be returning and will recommend to friends and family.

Our assistant Lauren was very friendly and knowledgeable on types of mattresses that matched our sleep test, she also gave us space to look around and be satisfied with our choice and was readily available to assist with completing order once we was ready. She also made us aware that bottles of water were available if we wanted them.

We were approached by Amanda after sanitizing and reading the instructions on entry. We told her we were probably looking for storage beds and she walked us round the different options and which beds could be ordered with different storage. She then left us to browse and when we found the bed we loved...the Prestwood set in Teal velvet...not a storage bed!...she was really informative about it, delivery times, assembly options etc. She also got some ppe paper roll so that I could try the bed out. She then introduced us to Tony the Store Manager and printed out all the specs so that we could go home and measure up. Amanda was off the next morning so Tony completed the sale for us and was very helpful. All in all we were pleasantly surprised that the whole experience was so good.

Staff were all extremely helpful and readily available if needed. It was the perfect balance of showing they were there to help if needed and not pushy or as if they were trying to sell us items unnecessarily.
