It was advertised as an Easter special but I didn't think the deals were great. Also there was no additional deals to be made (eg no free bedding etc)

My experience was just a straightforward transaction where I chose what I wanted and the assistance (seated behind a desk) chipped in with some useful advice. As I was the only customer in the shop there was no delay in placing my order.

It is not a particularly attractive looking store externally and tired looking internally. The area to collect goods from is disgusting and spoils the shopping experience because it shows such little care and attention where a good cleanup and lick of paint woild make it look so much more inviting. The stack of goods alongside the unit by the goods collection area out in the weather/elements which we presume is not stock? does nothing to enhance Dreams standing. These are small but really important parts of the customer experience.

We bought a bed in clearance which when dismantled was missing some of the bolts. The staff while very helpful tried to persuade us that a high sleeper bed with only three bolts would be perfectly safe for a 7 yr old after originally trying to persuade us it only ever should have three bolts (manual says differently). We were then given an email address to get a new bolt of our own. I am not unhappy with the purchase in general but was a little annoyed that some of the wear and tear was hidden by strategically placed items so it wasn't found until after I bought it.

Although the dreams assistant was polite, she did smell very sweaty. I asked if there was an simular divan in the store to the one I wanted online, I was shown one of the cheapest and although the online one was discounted because of the black friday sale,so I thought, I was informed this divan was better quality than the one online, although in essence the online one is advertised as more expensive. So I queried why this one in the shop was different and was told it was better quality that was the only difference. I stuck with the online divan but as yer to see the quality and compare. Apart from this the assistant did her job.

I remarked that I would have preferred the bed frame I was looking at if it had been made in solid wood. The salesman said it was solid wood - I was surprised because it didn't feel/look like that. Checked it out on the website when I got home and of course it isn't solid wood - mdf or similar which is not the same. Bought the bedframe elsewhere.
