First of all i went to the Dreams store twice on that day. The first time was with a salesman named Zahur who was very helpful and i made a purchase. The second time when i went he was busy with another customer and i had to explain my issue with another salesman. I went to the store to complain about the 'PRICE PROMISE' that Dreams boast about. When i went home after the purchase, i found a mattress which in my opinion was better than the one i bought and cheaper in price. I went to the store and after talking to him for quite a while he asked me to talk to customer services for them to evaluate if the mattress i bought was indeed eligible for the Price Promise.

We visited the Finchley store (Ballards Lane, N3) after I researched mattresses online. I had pre-selected 3 mattresses that we wished to try out before buying but only 1 was available in-store. The store itself was extremely unwelcoming on first sight as there were huge chunks of plaster missing from all of the walls and it actually looked like the store was in financial trouble and on the point of closing down. Had Zahur not had such good customer skills, we would probably have walked out and gone elsewhere. We felt sorry for the staff having to work in such a tatty store. It's so important to try out a mattress before buying so we felt that the choice available in the store was extremely limited with most mattresses being the higher end price so that was also disappointing.

The bed we initially chose was out of stock in the size we wanted and the delivery time on the next size down was too long

I had expected to be able to have the mattress I ordered delivered within 1 week and not have to wait 4 weeks for this

i WANTED THE MATTRESS TO BE DELIVERED TO A TRANSPORT FIRM BASED IN PETERBOROUGH. I WAS QUOTED MAY AS THE DELIVERY DATE. SO I ARRANGED FOR THE MATTRESS TO BE DELIVERED TO MY HOME IN LONDON, AND SO I WILL HAVE TO TRANSPORT IT TO PETERBOROUGH MYSELF. I WILL HAVE TO HIRE A VAN TO DO THIS.

At one point we asked to be given some time to browse the beds before deciding but the assistant followed us and kept talking. He was being friendly but we felt a little bit pressurised.
