Golden Corral

The quality of food and selection keeps going down hill each time me visit which is at minimum twice a month.

Our waitress did not come to the able until we had already been there for about 5 minutes, didn't come back to clear plates or refill drinks until we were getting ready to leave. There were moldy strawberries for the chocolate fountain, bathrooms were disgusting and the sad part is that the restaurant wasn't even that busy. We had 3 waitresses in our area sitting back by the drink station just talking.

Monroeville is really very bad...

Although I have not had many good experiences with given in the past, Golden Corral got me to come in because they were "new and improved" and had a discount. And fried chicken is always a draw for me. Well, other than there being new carpets, some booths put in instead of some tables, this GC was the same as it's always been. Less than clean with unremarkable food. The rice pilaf was dried out. The sliders, fried mushrooms, and strawberry pie were good. The chocolate chip cookies were not worth the calories. The soft serve ice cream was dangerously soft. Never spoken to by my server. I won't be back.

I have food poisoning from something I ate at the restaurant. The illness came on quickly and had me up till 1130pm going back and forth to the bathroom. Even this morning I'm still having intestinal cramps and am afraid to eat anything.

Erica the waitress was great, the food was undercooked and the restaurant was a mess. Most of the food looked like it was sitting there all day. Very disappointing experience.

Finally met our waitress more than a half hour after we arrived and had gotten drink refills from the front counter. I tried ordering a steak but the cook told me to wait over 15 mins to request one. Several items were empty on the bar. Sour cream was frozen. No yeast rolls. Employees were hiding cotton candy under the counter. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and this was to celebrate my birthday. Our waitress said she was waiting on a party of 40 but there weren't 40 people in the whole restaurant at the time. As we left (after too little to eat and more drink errors by the wait staff), we saw that 6 employees were outside on smoke breaks. UNBELIEVABLE!
