Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens

We took our 5 yr old daughter and loved it. The sting rays were AMAZING!!! I think we could've stayed all day. The Asian loop was boring. Food was great.

Great shows

We went to the zoo today for a birthday party. We started @ the picnic area for gifts, food, cake, etc. Then we went into the zoo to walk around for a few hours. The kids all had a blast. The only things I would recommend are: 1: To maintain the picnic area a bit more. It's really been let go. The bathroom area is horrible & the grounds in general need updating. 2: The price to get into the zoo has gotten really high! It cost over $40 for me & my daughter to get in & ride the train. It's very difficult for families to go to the zoo & enjoy themselves for a few hours when they have to pay so much.

I went to the zoo with my family visiting in town with our two young children. Many of the animals were out great for kids. I did not see the sea otter or stingray exhibit

Great place to visit but very crowded

I LOVE the zoo and so do my kids. We went last night for the zoo lights & it was great!
