It's a great place for the family and kids but I don't recommend going on a hot day like I did.

Being a member of the zoo has great perks

We were at an exhibit, not sure of the name to the animals, some sort of hog. Behind the golf course was in view. We saw a tiger and a hyena in the golf course. We were amazed and scared a bit. Curious more than anything. There we lots of cups and napkins throughout the walkways of the zoo. We didn't see any custodial effort. Pretty sad. We tried to use the la zoo app for the Americas rainforest tour. It did not work. Disappointed.
