Good movie and it was really high tech and felt very new

Expensive.

Went to wrong theatre for an advanced showing. :(

The price of 3D movies has truly impacted how much people spend at the theater. Not to mention the fact that so many movies are now in 3D that don't need to be has really getting out of hand. I wanted to take my kids to see Pixels and the times for regular shows were limited, forcing me to go to a 3D movie. A matinee show is almost 12.00 for children and 14.00 for adults. Spending 60.00 for a matinee is over priced and ridiculous. Then you go to the concession stand and pay a minimum of 20.00 for 2 drink ( that 4 people have to share because of the cost) and a popcorn I didn't mind paying for concession stand until almost every movie became 3D. Going to the movies has become a luxury that I can't afford anymore.
