Buying gift certificates for Xmas gifts

The drive thru employee was very unfriendly. When I pulled up to the drive thru, she just said hold on. About 4 minutes later she said go ahead. While I was ordering, she kept saying what what. When I got up to the drive thru window, she never said a word to me except for when I first drove up to the window she said the dollar amount that I owe.
