Lots of exhibits under construction.

The zoo was under construction and most of the exhibits were closed. The brochure advertised attractions that were not yet available. I did enjoy the shaded pathways, but that was the only reason we stayed as long as we did. I was very upset to have paid the amount of money we did for the experience we received.... I would recommend people wait at least 5 years before attempting to visit.

The Nashville zoo is under construction and needs to be considerate of pricing during construction. There should also be emphasis on how and when to schedule field trips. There was an enormous amount of schools and students at the zoo, so is it was overcrowded and made it uncomfortable when walking around and trying to keep students together. Because of the overcrowding, there was a minimum comfortable space is our places for our school to eat lunch. We had to send the buses back early to drop off lunch then return and pick student up early from The field trip.

I was very disappointed with the Nashville zoo. There were a lot of exhibits closed for reconstruction even though sign at entrance said available spring 2015. There were very few animals in the exhibits and the animals looked sad. Some exhibits were hard to see animals. I could not believe that there was so much construction. The best exhibits were the reptiles and birds. I was very disappointed and not sure if we will return.

Very disappointed. Not very many animals there and so far to walk between them. The kids loved the play area and inside aquarium. Staff was very friendly, ticket booth guy was very helpful and friendly!!!

This trip to Nashville zoo was not very exciting. The tiger exhibit was under construction, therefore the zoo did not have any other big cats other than two cougars that we could barely see. I was a bit concerned with how easy it looked for some of the animals to escape...but I guess..this gave the onlookers a chance to really get up close to some of the animals. Overall, I was just disappointed in the variety of animals... The zoo's map and signs advertised a couple of animals that were not offered.
