At many of the exhibits you couldn't see the animals. It was frustrating to pay that much and only spend about 90 minutes there.

Besides the ignorant staff and my child falling off a broken metal picnic bench, it was overall a pretty nice experience. My son did not get seriously hurt so that was a plus. But no one came back to repair the bench where bolts were missing. However there was random tools laying in the outside eating area. Hmmm mystery...I think they could work on a couple things...

Rude workers

The zoo grounds were unkempt and messy the gardens were over grown and there were only three zoo animal handlers staff throughout the entire park. The polar bears were not out and we could not see some of the primates and the animals did not seem happy at all. The food was so over priced. $8.00 for a salad is a ridiculous amount of money. I was so embarrassed to be there. I have been to zoos all over the world and this is the very worst I have ever seen.

The polar bears weren't out, there were no lions (only lionesses), the big tank in the aquarium w all the fish & sharks was drained & not about to be viewed, no hippos, & they closed early bc of being b4 Memorial Day. They did not tell us this when we called b4 going. We did not get to see all of the zoo bc of this! My 4 children wanted to play on the slides & they were alrdy shut down b4 we got to them. They were very upset!!! I believe we should be able to go down another day for free to get to see & do everything. We live an hour and a half away to have this happen!
