Many of the animals were not out and it was hard to see them

the zoo was very unfriendly and the staff seemed more interested in getting out of the zoo before closing time rather than helping visitors. The zoo was very "do it yourself" oriented and was not interactive in the least. someone needs to call a PR person and get this place a makeover. its the same zoo I saw when I was 8. expected to see something refreshing or different. not the case today

Horrible!!! The worst zoo I've ever been to. The enclosures for the animals are TINY and the majority of the animals are alone. Their enclosures are cement and dirt, with no shade or vegetation. The animals pace back and forth with boredom, or hide completely to get out of the sun in the little shade that they have. It was a depressing experience for an animal loving person like myself. They need to spend less on landscaping and more on space for the animals. I'll never visit again and I'll tell my friends and family to avoid this zoo and instead visit the natural bridge safari which is amazing
