Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park

I love the fact that the Santa Ana Zoo is still affordable after all these years. The souvenir store is reasonable, are the tickets and refreshments too.

Not wild animals to show

Maybe because we got there shortly after opening but numerous animals weren't out. Also disappointed there was no petting corral.

Very dirty

We came in and purchased a season pass. When we went inside we learned that a tropical area exhibit which is basically 1/3 of the zoo was closed until next summer. We were not told this when we bought the passes. We should have been warned about this major closure.

It's just a bunch of monkeys

Terrible variety of animals to view. We felt like it was a waste of money and will not go back.
