Zoominations is really cool, but this zoo is tiny for a big city. I realize funding is probably low which is why tickets are so expensive. The animals are hardly out and many exhibits are built for adults rather than kids - sometimes kids can't even see the animals from where the fences are positioned. The walkways when it rains are an absolute hazard and I almost took a tumble several times.

Wasent that happy with the zoo. Maybe because it was around 330 and park closes at 5 ish? My child was happy though! And that is all that counts.

When I arrived for Zoominations, no parking attendants were anywhere in sight, so I just picked a spot under a light, a few spaces down from the last car parked. All of a sudden, a parking attendant came running up to my car shouting at me that I couldn't leave space between the cars. Rather than just fill in the gaps with the cars coming in behind me, he made them stop, had me pull out of my spot, then wandered off and left me idling in reverse without any further directions. I should have put the car back in the original spot and gone about my business. When I entered the park with my friends, we wanted to ride the carousel. We were reprimanded by further zoo staff because adults aren't allowed to ride the carousel animals. This regulation was not posted anywhere that I saw, and in my opinion is utterly ridiculous. I rode that carousel when I was five years old and if I want to come back and ride it twenty years later, by God, I should be able to. People don't go to this zoo to see attractions-they go to relive memories. My delightful experience was compounded at the coffee stand. Only one employee was working and it was obvious that she was unequal to her task, perhaps even mentally handicapped. The woman ahead of me just needed to buy milk to feed her baby. The attendant refused to sell her any because she didn't have a stock code for milk. Obviously all she needed to do was to ring up the cheapest dairy menu item and then-GASP-NOT add coffee to it. I faced similar challenges in ordering a mocha. She was out of mocha syrup, so I suggested she use the powdered hot chocolate that she DID have in stock. It was like trying to explain quantum physics to a toddler with Downs Syndrome. The conclusion? Rather than simply apply a small upcharge for the additional inventory consumption, she would charge me for both a $2.50 hot chocolate and a $3.50 coffee. I did not make the purchase.

Would be better off goin to Busch Gardens, but we came for the Zoo Boo, half the park was shut down, security said the animals were sleeping, I'm pretty sure it was 5 o'clock and that was a terrible reason. The candy that was being handed out was sub par(no variety at all) The parade at the end was lame, 3 horses , a snake and a couple dogs(wolfs maybe) , I was very disappointed. I'm don't think I'm going to get a season pass for next year, probably lost a customer

The shrubs were so overgrown that you couldn't see some of the animals. My grandchildren were very bored!

I went for Wild Wonderland and they barely had any lights.
