I grew up in San Antonio and attended the park the first year it opened. The park has undergone some huge changes since then. This was the first time I attended the park as a parent. My child loved Sesame Street Bay of Play and the shows were great. The Christmas decorations and products far exceeded our expectations. We anticipated much longer shows, a wider variety of shows, and cleaner exhibits. The shark bldg, tanks, beluga stadium, and penguin exhibit need to be updated, given new paint, and cleaned. The staff needs to pay better attention to detail. For example, remove the dirt buildup at the corners of the walls/tanks and replace the carpet where children clean to see into aquariums. We were disappointed that the shows had more discussion and people tricks than interaction with the animals. The thing I remember the most about visiting SeaWorld as a kid, were the elaborate tricks and shows of Shamu, whales, dolphins, and Clyde and Seamore. The current shows were mediocre at best. The pricing and quality of food was great. SeaWorld has the most reasonable prices for food that I have ever seen at an amusement park. The drink refills were affordable and we were able to use our old souvenirs cups to get refills. Keep up the great prices and quality food (especially the fruit).
