I told the guy (Sam?...) that I wanted the "buy a $25 Subway card, get a 6" sub free" deal, and ordered a steak & egg sub. He made my sub, microwaved it twice because the toaster wasn't working. I actually liked it better this way, I think. But then when he rang it up, he forgot to sell me the $25 gift card, so he just rang up the sub. I wouldn't have bought that sub if I was paying for it. I would've done the $3.50 breakfast combo with a bacon & egg sub and a drink. I asked him to void it out and redo it, so I could buy the gift card, and get the free sub. He told me he couldn't do that, because the owner would get an immediate text when he voided a transaction. I told him that was disappointing, since I wouldn't have bought a $4.50 sub when a $3.50 combo with a drink was available. His solution then was to offer me a free drink, which I took. But I still overpaid by $1.00 over what I would've paid for a combo, or by $4.50 over what I would've paid if he'd rung up the gift card (which would've been $25 cash to spend later at Subway). So, as stupid as it is, the reality at this Subway is that a transaction can't be made right, because the boss will find out. That's right, due to the fact that the owner will find out that a customer walked out happy, a customer can't walk out happy. That makes a lot of sense!

I waited over 35 minutes for a sub, not enough staff and the staff didn't work very fast at all, I'm quite disappointed.
