Days Inn and Suites Seaford

Whole hotel smelled of smoke, worse than a casino, even our non-smoking room. We had to buy Lysol to disinfect and deodorize. The staff at check in seemed more interested in ending their shift and heading home, than greeting us or assisting us. The room itself stank of stale cigarettes, had peeling wallpaper, some sort of red stain on the desk lampshade and the door was higher on one side making it appear as if it was not closed completely. I had to hoist the door up on one side to get the security deadbolt in at night. When we first got to the room, it was hotter than outside and the air conditioning took a long time to cool things down. the refrigerator made a constant ticking noise, similar to but faster and louder than a clock. We won't be staying here again.
