My patty melt was so greasy and not toasted at all. It was warm bread slopped in butter.

The food was good, and the prices were decent. Service was extremely slow, from our waitress, to the cook, to the lady who checked us out.

My husband and I both visited the restroom. I had to flush the commode before using it. The sinks were dirty and floors dirty as well. When our food came, it wasn't hot.

It took 1 hrs to get my food. A grilled cheese . Seriously ????

We usually love to eat at Steak 'n Shake. We always choose to eat there if it is an option. His weekend we had very slow service. And we ordered our shakes without whip cream and they messed up the order. It was not our usual Steak 'n Shake so we will still be returning to ours when we get back home.
