Steak 'n Shake

love that I can get a small shake.

Great tasting food and very reasonable prices. However, when I asked to substitute a side of cottage cheese for the fries that came with my order I was up-charged for the tiny portion of cottage cheese. Seemed very ticky tacky given that I was not receiving any fries.

Very good but my order was wrong.

I didn't like that a waitress has a sick child back where the food was being made.

Slow service, sandwich made wrong, refills on beverages never offered

Steakburgerwas excellent. Service was poor. Ate most of my meal with nothing to drink. Waited 4 minutes to pay my bill... Server was out front smoking-2nd time since I arrived

They were not busy but it still took 15 min to get our drink and order.. And another 15 min to get out food!!

I don't like their food

The food was cold and took an hour to get when they were not busy at all. They lady that sat us acted like we were a bother and was so rude. Burgers where extremely crunchy and dry. Then the cook proceeded to tell us they were slow bc the manager was in the back sick. You don't tell people eating at your restaurant that your manager is sick in the back. It was just an awful experience. We will not be back.
