Steak 'n Shake

Worst visit ever. Went through drive thru. Was told to pull up and they would bring my shakes right out. I waited in my car for 23 minutes. Finally went inside and nobody seemed to know. Had to wait another 5 minutes inside at the counter and nobody even seemed sorry! Worst experience and I will not be back!

My cousin and I visited steak and shake to grab a quick meal and my cousin wanted a specific menu item. We got from the ordering speaker to the window pretty quickly but we were asked to pull around and wait for our food that took nearly 15 minutes after pulling up. Staff was apologetic but didn't seem to be in much of a hurry.

Service was just ok at best. Normally service is really great at this steak and shake. She just didn't seem like wanted to be at work and did the bare minimum. Food came out hot and fresh. It was good until I moved my fries and seen a long gray hair underneath them. The server apologize and quickly got her manager. The manager promptly took my meal off the ticket. My meal was already ruined . I was on a lunch break and lost my appetite after seeing the hair in my food so I could not even eat nor did I want to order anything else. Usually steak and shake is a good solid place to in town with great service and fresh hot food , but today that was not the case.

The fries were mushy needed salt and I received no ketchup. The Oreo shake I orders tasted like almond ice cream
