Steak 'n Shake

My frisco melt wasn't as good as I remembered but the kids all enjoyed their food and shakes!

service was good

I stopped by at 4am on my way home from work. There was only one car at the window and I still waited for over 5 minutes to be able to place my order. The man at the window apologized for the wait, but I also noticed that he looked very unkempt.

The worker was rude for some reason

The service was so slow and they only had 4 parties dining! We waited so long for a shake we had to go to the counter to ask where our waiter and shake were and then had to get it to go since we were all done eating.

Service is always slow at all steak n shakes so I expect that when I come. Today the server was having a bad day and she was stressed out and let it show and told all her tables about it. I have always been taught not to unload your troubles on your customers no matter what. Just apologize for what ever is going on ( food slow, service slow etc ) and do your job as best you can. I know she is young but management should be mentoring these young people and teaching them how to behave in the workplace. We all have bad days it's how you handle them that matters. My son and I both ordered hot dogs and they were so over cooked and charred black they were barely eatable. Didn't bother sending them back because of the waitress. She was very nice just not handling herself well.
