Steak 'n Shake

Next to McDonald's.......Get my large Diet Coke there and sip my drink at steak and shake drive thru line, which usually takes a while. Plus the $1.00 any size drink at McDonald's is saving me money. The single steak burger seems smaller than it used to be.

Took long time to get milkshakes. They came after we got our meal but ordered them before ordering food

Steak and shake is not quick ..... You wait in line and ordering is slow, not always ready to take your order. But the food is usually worth the wait. Today I ordered a steak burger with cheese and fries with an upgraded large drink. The drink came , not large and not diet. As I am a type 1 diabetic ( pancreas does not work) drinking that coke is really a hazard if I don't know. It's not to stay slim it's a medical issue. I held the drink out the window for a long time, the woman did not open the window. She finally, looking puzzled, said did you order a large diet?! No apology. Also asked for extra ketchup on burger and it was almost visible ( a little dab) definitely not "extra" I went over the order 3 times(and was given one price by person on speaker and one price by 2nd window attendant

The food was great but the customer service needs improvement.
