I had forgotten why I quit eating at Red Robins. Now I recall. The food looks good, but lacks in taste. Service was slow for nearly 3pm. Their chili con queso has a twist with added meat and black beans I was not expecting. Alaskan Cod was bland. If I had known the area better, I would have eaten elsewhere.

Waitress took an unusually long time to take our order them didn't come back to check on our food or beverage refill I had to ask another server for assistance

The wait time was the only positive we experienced. We had to wait for 7 minutes for anyone to come to our table. When I asked for fries she said she would see what she could do and brought a basket that were way overdone. Then when we finally got our food, the fries and food were cold. We asked for more fries and suffered through the food because we were really hungry. Then when we got the 3rd batch of fries they were agin overdone. For this place to be known for fries it was a disappointment. We also had to ask for drink refills and extra plates when I specified in the beginning that our kids would be sharing.
