Steak 'n Shake

Not too thrilled with Strak n Shake. We waited in the drive thru line for what seemed like ever. When we got our drinks, they gave us the wrong order and it took awhile to get the correct one. After that, our food was cold and fries were stale. I would expect this from a late night visit, but not at 7:15 PM.

Waitress forgot I ordered a shake as usual. Honestly I don't know why I agree to eat there. ??

Awful. Waited in line at the drive thru for 39 minutes.

Way too slow. They shouldn't have a drive thru if you have to wait a half hour

Steak 'n Shake has great burgers and shakes but the fries could be better

Food could have been hotter. The shake and water was good

Shake was watery. I asked for onion rings instead of fries and still got fries. Both of my friend's orders were wrong.

When we arrived, store was half empty, yet we waited for nearly ten minutes for a hostess to offer to seat us. Servers were in an ongoing argument with the manager. Servers were unfriendly. Ordered drinks and waited and waited. Milk shake was melted. Ordered seasoned fries and the arrived unsalted and cold. Worst eating out experience we've had in a long time. Marked it off our list.

Very slow drive through ended up leaving because it took too long

I ordered online for a 12:57 pm pickup. I ordered a guacamole burger, onion rings, iced tea, kids cheeseburger, French fries, and a taco salad. I went to the counter to get my order and the people ahead of me had coupons. Their total wasn't coming out right. Two different staff tried to ring them up before getting a manager. I got tired of waiting, so I went to the drive thru. I didn't get to the window until after 1:30. The cashier didn't know how to do online orders, so he had to get a manager. He then hands me 2 burgers with guacamole and two fries. I complained that there were no toppings on the guacamole burger and the kids cheeseburger shouldn't have guacamole on it and I didn't get my onion rings or taco salad. The taco salad wasn't ready yet. He took the burgers back and they put everything on the kids burger, so many toppings, my son wouldn't eat it, still no toppings for the guacamole burger. So he puts a container in the bag filled with toppings and condiments squirted into the container. They were out of ranch dressing for the taco salad and they didn't put any tortilla strips in it. The ice was melted in the tea by the time I got the messed up food and it was 2:00 by the time I got everything. They never had me pull forward, so there were more than 5 cars waiting behind me. I won't be going back.
