Steak 'n Shake

Terrible. We went in and waited 5 min before our waitress even took our drink order. When she did take the order we waited another 15 min just to get the drink. Followed by another 5 min before she took out order. When we did get the order it was about 30 min waited on food that tastes like it was from a fast food place. All this waiting for not great food is ridiculous. Then we found that they were charging my 5 year old the adult price of a kids meal. Had to get the check corrected before paying which was another waiting game. If my kids hadn't been hungry and wanting to eat I would have left a long time ago. Other people did get up and leave and the manager on duty didn't even seem to care. They were not busy and should have had much better service. Won't return.

We chose to sit in the restaurant and order in rather than go through the drive through. That was a mistake. First off we stood at the door for about ten minutes waiting to be seated. There were people that could have sat us , but didn't. One girl was sweeping and didn't stop to seat us. There were actually several people that could have sat us and many tables open. The waitress was nice to start with but was rude after that milkshake had powdery taste reordered and it was powdery also taco salad had little meat and dressing added extra food to the ticket that was taken off at the register took over an hour to get food waitress said drive through gets priority

i HATE the waitress calling me "baby" or "darling"!!! i asked for a napkin and waited so long i got up to get one myself! and I'm physically handicapped!! when asked what i was doing i said"getting a napkin which you couldn't do!!" AWFUL WAITRESS!!!

Went drive thru and it took over 20 minutes just to get some fries. Fries weren't very good either.
