Steak 'n Shake

Rude cashier and very slow service

I think they honestly forgot about our order.

Horrible drive thru. I waited 16 minutes to get my order and there was only 1 person in front of me in line. No apology either.

We only went to Steak N Shake because Denny's was cleaning their kitchen hoods. Once there we were seated right in and between 3 other tables that had people on them even though there was no one else in the entire place. The server took our order quickly enough, but we had to wait 45 minutes for our food and then had to ask for drink refills. When our food was delivered, it was delivered for 3 people and I had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get mine. There were no apologies offered even though there was a manager and 2 servers for 5 tables. They didn't even bother to take any money off our total. When we went to pay the manager was in the middle of doing an audit on the register and I was told that we would have to wait until she was done. I'm sorry, I know you have things to do but your customers are more important. While she was doing the audit she stopped and talked to a customer who was sitting at the counter, she talked to the server, and she talked to the cook. We waited almost 5 minutes just to pay. I will NEVER go back to Steak N Shake again.

Brought 5 teens with me. Two of them went in and were ignored for 3 or 4 minutes while they waited for the rest of us to come in. Once we were all in there, they seated some other people (I don't know if they were there before my girls or not). At that same time, some new people came in. A couple minutes passed, and the waitress came over and started seating those people, leaving the six of us standing there in shock. We left, and went to McDonald's.

The food was horrible the service sucked . They are making to many changes to there food. It's not the same food it use to be
