Steak 'n Shake

This restaurant is going down hill. The cheeseburger I ordered was gross and the fries were cold.

ok but not something I would want all the time. I've had better food.

lady that sat us was unpleasant, long wait for beverages

Female manager on duty was hateful rude and disrespectful to the employees

I was disappointed that they no longer had Carmel Apple Shake although it is still Fall of the Year. So, I decided to go with the Holiday selection - white chocolate. I was told that they were out of it. Finally, I decided to get the Birthday Cake flavor & was disappointed with the flavor- bland.

Fries were cold

very slow service. not very busy and five tables ahead of me were waiting on food. got up and walked out.

the last time I came here I got a triple steak burger is was beyond greasy worst burger ever than my friend was like try it again yiu prolly went on bad day ha nope it was the same way it was so greasy it was like I was eating pure grease I didn't even pull it out of my bag as soon as I touched the wrapper it was extremely greasy on the outside I opened the wrapper and the grease pretty much poured out of my wrapper

It took 30 minutes to get our DRINK orders taken. Another 30 to get our food, and when we did my friends milkshake was wrong. The waitress was not very nice when she told her it was wrong, even though we were trying to be very nice and understanding. She told her there were 20 milkshakes in front of her to get the order right and redo it, and my friend told her to cancel the order since we were almost don't eating at that point, and then she was even more rude. We were there for over an hour and a half just to eat. The good was good, but service, employees and speed were terrible. I'm not sure when I will be back to the Cookeville, TN location again.
