I always enjoy eating here and the new app makes it a great experience. However I waited 10 minutes for someone to take my order and was seated next to an ant infestation. There were probably several hundred ants crawling in the windowsill and falling on my table. When I pointed it out to management they simply said "Oh, we thought we took care of that. We need to close that section off." There was no apology or any attempt to compensate me. I was not looking for it, but it would have been good customer service because of all of the ants in that area. I am pretty sure the health department would not look favorably at Steak and Shake knowing this was an ongoing problem.
