I ordered my food at the table and the server brought it out to me. The food was pretty good, but the bun on the burger tasted stale and was unappealing. Normally I have great experiences with Steak and Shake but this wasn't one. When it came time to pay the bill, I walked to the counter and waited. Apparently the only person who could ring me up was the person who was cooking on the grill top since I had to wait for a few minutes, while servers stared at me or avoided making eye contact. Overall, this was probably the weirdest least positive visit to a steak and shake, but it was still overall a decent experience.
