Red Robin

I was very disappointed in the speed of service and the quality of food on this particular visit. We probably waited 12 to 15 minutes before our server actually came to our table to greet us and get our drink order. By this time we were also ready to order our food and did so. It took another 10 minutes just to get a basket of fries to the table and we waited an extraordinarily long amount of time before our meal was brought to us. Two orders came out incorrectly. Two other orders that were hamburgers were not cooked to specification: both burgers were requested medium and came out well done. In addition the burgers and soups that should have been hot were room temperature.because we waited so long for our food we just dealt with what we had because we didn't want to wait any longer because of how long we had already been there. As we were leaving we overheard another table that had a similar experience waiting for their server to come over and the manager was comping an appetizer and drinks. Great move by the manager. Makes me wish we would've said something while we were there so somebody could have paid more attention to issues that we were having. I guess that's what we get for trying to get through our experience without complaining. And yes, we still tipped 15%.

Host was indifferent. After being seated, at least ten minutes passed before we knew who our server was. She was fine at first, but we had to remind her about things we asked for. Like a cup of water, before we got our food. Our drinks were never refilled. The soup I got was a little disappointing. My friend's fries were barely warm. When we wanted to get more of the "bottomless" fries, we had to fight tooth and nail for it. The server would disappear for five minutes, come back, and say "Oh, did you still want those fries?" She did this three times, like she was hoping we would change our minds if it took 15+ minutes to get them. She was quick to shoo us out when she assumed we were done. We'd wanted to stay longer and order desserts, but decided we didn't want to wait 20 minutes while being questioned if we truly wanted what we ordered.
