Going to Steak N Shake today wasn't my choice- it was my friends. Out of 1000 places to go eat, we had to go here. I knew well in advance of dining there it would be bad. It was 1230pm- busy lunch rush time. Not enough staff. Placed order OK then waited & waited & waited some more. Food was fine cept I hate them 'shoestring' fries. And why can't you order breakfast all day long? I was in the mood for pancakes & eggs. But what drives me crazy is the tile floor. Is it white OR Some dirty grimy greyish off white color? See.... If you keep a greasy dirty floor in the joint how can anything else come out of that place good?
