This was the first time I had been in this Steak 'n Shake for years, but I saw it was under new management and decided to give it a try. The food was excellent. The service was not good. Despite the fact that the restaurant was not crowded, it took 15 min before the server even came to my table at all. She took my order wrong, but corrected it before putting it in. Food service was quick, and she seemed happier after that. My main complaint was the amount of time to place the order (with multiple other servers walking past table looking at me but not speaking) and then repeatedly having to remind server for refills and receipt. Food was great, but I hate to imagine what service is like at peak time.
