Steak 'n Shake has pretty good food.

Servers routinely forgot to bring items after we ask for something. This happened on the previous occasion too. Servers take orders or drop off food then vanish! Servers do not clean tables thoroughly during the meal, multiple empty cups and tons of dirty napkins will accumulate in the table during the meal.

It must have been understaffed because it took a long time for the waiter yo come back to our table and take our order. He was considerate though, and sped up the order.

Very slow service and my waitress completely forgot some of our order (several times)

The food took forever to come out. I ordered a single cheeseburger and got a double. The milkshakes came out wrong and the waitress seemed confused. They did take off the milkshakes but I was highly disappointed.

Walked in to dine. Waited for 6-7 minutes for tables to be cleaned so that we could be seated. Decided to leave and eat at another restaurant.
