Steak 'n Shake

Our waitress was great but over worked. She needed help.

I like the half price milk shakes.

We were seated quickly, but then after 20 minutes and no one had been to our table to even let us know they were our server and that they would be right with us, we got the attention of a manager. After that, a waitress just appeared and was very apologetic, but she was so busy that we had to get her attention any time we needed anything. I will not suggest to someone to stop in and eat and then have this kind of service.

Need to improve seating and service!

Was on lunch and food took forever and u had to get mine to go. But the worst was my moms order was suppose to have no onions and not only was our food super late but my mom had to wait longer to get her order correctly. Now the server was amazing "Brittany". Thanks for the great service Brittany because even though food took forever you were so sincere.

I recently visited Steak and Shake in Dalton , Georgia with my family. We live in Calhoun so we don't get to go very often but the last time I went there the service was amazing but this time that was not the case. We ordered off of the four dollar value menu, we were a total of five people and four of us ordered burgers, one ordered chicken. They were busy but not busier than normal, we waited an extremely long time for our food and when we got our burgers they were not fresh, totally burnt. The milkshakes were also watered down, but I figured it was because they were selling a lot of them so I didn't make it out to be a big deal but for us to wait so long and the burgers to be so bad it made me very disappointed. I was attended by about three different servers and each time they would ask us if everything was OK and if we needed something, we would tell them what we needed they would say they would be right back and no one ever came back to the table which was also dirty before we even sat down and the ketchup bottle at our table completely empty. I did speak with the manager and she did refund the burgers off of my ticket so we did not have to pay for the burgers but my overall experience was very negative still. She did explain to me that only half of the grill was working, I could understand waiting a while but my meat was not fresh so I'm still disappointed. We did not have time to wait for them to remake my burgers because we had already waited so long and we were on our way to see a movie.

The wait is always so long. The mustard on my burger wasn't in the middle. It was all over the side and poorly put together!! ??

The burger wasn't cooked all the way through which made it disgusting. The Sprite I ordered was only carbonated water. It was nasty. I won't be back.

Not happy with cleanliness of store food was terrible and some blonde was yelling at a girl named sherry across store to see what she was suppose to do .... Awful

The service was crappier than ever and it wasn't even busy.
