r service is always slow at this steak'n shake. I saw my shakes brought to the counter, but the window person did not open her window or acknowledge me for several minutes. normally, the shakes are never ready when you get to the window, so I mistakenly thought I would quickly be served when I saw them brought to the counter so quickly.

The waitress explained the slowness was because it was shift change and the new group was moving very slow. Waitress was very nice.

The food was fantastic, but service was lacking. I waited a significant period for drink refills. We were a party of 5 and we're going to order shakes after the meal, but were rushed out of the restaurant. The waitress forgot to come back and get our order for shakes. The week before we were at the same location and the service was fantastic and it was twice as busy. Sad
