Steak 'n Shake

we had been in the restaurant for more than 30 minutes before our food was delivered despite there being no one else in the restaurant. Also I gave specific instructions for my sandwich and those instructions were disregarded. I was overall pretty disappointed.

The restaurant was filthy from the parking lot to the inside! The food was horrible! I will not be going back there!

I was not greeted upon entering. I waited 5 minutes to be acknowledged, then waited 10 minutes to order. Staff may need more training on professionalism.

Service was very, very slow. I had a coupon but there were out of the item I wanted and I attempted to find another coupon for the alternate item I ordered and was informed there was no coupon for that so I then tried ordering something else and was informed by the person seeming our table/taking my order that she would bring me a coupon. When it came time to pay she informed me there was no coupon! Seems like this information could have been revealed before sending my order forward. Food was good but I will NEVER eat there again.

We waited at the drive through for almost 5 minutes with no response. We had to drive up to the window to get our order.

It took 40 minutes in the drive through and the drive through window worker was rude. We watched the staff chatting and laughing while we waited at the window for 17 minutes.

Better workers

Our waitress was horrible. The majority of the staff was standing around goofing off. No customer received good service last night. One table of about 8 people walked out after no one came for their order.

No silverware-the restaurant didn't have ANY ready and the place was PACKED! Waited forever for entrees. Food came out COLD. Drink refills never came. Waitress was not rude or anything, but was not attentive. Only checked on table once.
