Horrible food

The service is always so slow

This location has always been poorly managed (for at least the last 17 years). Dining in is usually better than the drive thru. This time their fountain was out of cola so our drinks were from flat 2 liters. Our server we friendly and the food good however we waited a little too long to be acknowledged by the hostess and seated. The restrooms needed some attention as well. They need better managers here.

The service on Saturday was absolutely horrible! To 20 minutes to get seated with empty tables in clear view the entire time. Waitress made no less than 6 mistakes on our order. 6 free shakes were accepted and manager took order for those. That was another 24 minute wait and those came out wrong too. Entire check was eventually taken care of by the manager and I will never return!

We just chose this restaurant to meet some friends. They ordered soup we ordered shakes. They got their soup pretty quickly, it took them nearly 45 minutes to get us the shakes. Only after contacting the waitress and being told that they were really busy in the back. When we went to pay the bill we told the store manager that this was an issue and were told they were really busy. The restaurant was half-full and the parking lot was equally half-full. Tables only third were occupied. Not good, we certainly won't meet there again.

Good food cheap but so slow and made me sick

Took forever for someone to come over. Coffee was awful husband asked for more, he was almost done with food before he got it. Fries we not all the way done!

My food was cold my fries were hard and it took 20mins in drive thru I tried calling them about it they wouldn't answer the phone. I called the 800 number they were supposed to have gotten back with me and I still haven't heard anything. Won't be going back beings I ended up just throwing $20 worth of food in the trash

That was the worst visit. There were 6 or 7 employees hanging out in the back while there were 3 parties waiting to be seated, my party included. After we were seated, it took our waitress 15 minutes to take our drink orders, then 20 more minutes to get our drinks and order our food. When the food finally came out, after 55 minutes, it was cold and hard. When we got up to pay, our total came up way too high. Our waitress had added someone else's shakes to our bill. The girl at the counter was really sweet and gave us part of her tip money to cover what we didn't have. We did not accept her tip offer. We will not be visiting the Clarksville, IN Steak 'n Shake for a while.
