Steak 'n Shake

Slow service

Went through the drive Thur and used a coupon for buy one get one free. Shakes went made fast and correctly.

We had great service and good food but they were completely out of pickles for my burger and out of ice cream for milkshakes.

Friendly service

You could tell they were short staffed yesterday. Though it took longer to get our food, our server was very polite and the food tasted great!

I like stake and Shake but this restaurant had about 8 tables that needed cleaned off and the floor looked like it's in need of a good cleaning. The waiter was great and nice.

Typically the food at Steak n Shake is quite good. However, I had a taco salad today and it wasn't good at all. The meat had no flavor, the salsa was so hot you could hardly touch it to your tongue and they didn't offer all the standard taco salad toppings. My server was quite good and very friendly. However, the check out at the register was ridiculous. I waited and waited and had to say something twice to get someone to let me pay my check. While I was waiting to pay for my food I observed the cooking staff fooling around, throwing things at each other and not paying attention to the food they were cooking and about to serve to people. I was rather upset with this visit since it's not normal for this Steak n Shake restaurant

We like S n S. it's slow, but worth it when we have the time. we like their food.
