Steak 'n Shake

The wait in the drive thru felt a bit long, there were 2 cars ahead of me. The lady at the window though, was super friendly and worked quickly. The kitchen crew seemed more concerned with talking about tomorrow's schedule than getting orders completed.

Small meat portion on the taco salad ?

Steak 'N Shake was meant to be a quick stop, but things always seem to be a bit harried. My wife ordered a meal with a side, and the side came out considerably earlier than the rest of the meal. Then when it was time to check out, there was confusion then, too. The food was good, but the experience was questionable. We'll go back, though - this review sounds worse than the evening actually was.

I love steak and shake. But I recently went and had to wait 25 minutes for a shake.

they deal wit a lot of drunks and idiots that late at night. Hats off for still working to give good service.

This was a late-night visit at the request of a friend. The drive-thru actually had quite the line, so we decided to go in. It actually took a while to get "noticed" by the waitstaff, and then a new server was getting trained. It seemed like an odd time to be training someone. Once our table was greeted, though, things went rather smoothly and efficiently, and our food was pretty good.

Very talkative and fries were overdone
