Slow and order was wrong.

I go to steak and shake because there food is always amazing but tonight I had 3 garlic sliders and when I ate my last one I couldn't bite through the burger cause the bottom piece of bread was so hard and stale! Of course told waiter but no manager was there to apologize for the inconvenience and nothing was offered to make up for it! Very disappointed with this visit!!!

They seemed very understaffed. There were people not doing much. There was a line of cars around the building and a line of people inside waiting. It wasn't even a peak eating time.

there were only 2 employees working it took 8 minutes to be seated and our food was not cooked correctly. this location's quality has gone way down.

when we arrived there was hardly any customer. It took 5 minutes before we were seated.Then 20 minutes went by and I had to ask be helped. They then argued who was going to help us. we ordered 3 ice creams and 1 was brought out wrong.

Worst experience at a steak and shake ever! Waiter came back 2 times asking what our drink order was she he said he couldn't find his pad he wrote it on. 10 mins later finally got the drinks and took the food order.. 25 mins later.. I asked for the check for drinks since we were not going to wait any longer for our food. He never came back. I threw $3 on the table to cover the 1 soda and 2 waters and walked out. Went down the street to eat Whataburger instead. I will not come back to eat at steak and shake.. Ever!

Not at all good. They were busy but service was 100% Unacceptable. We're seated & then 15-20 minutes went by before we flagged someone down for drinks & menus. At least prob another 10 mins went by before she brought our drinks. We were there for a meeting so planned to do paperwork & there for hours as it was. Placed our food order & it took another 30 mins to get out food & my burger was wrong but ate it anyway because I didn't want to wait for it any longer. Had to ask for our own refills & were never checked on. Then I flagged them down for a menu again for a shake. Placed my shake order & 20 mins later I asked about it. 30 mins later I asked for a manager & asked him for my shake. 15 mins later he brought it to me & apologized. This whole experience sucked & I don't plan to be back. The dining room was so cold I asked them to turn the temp down when we got there & was told we don't control the temp so we can't do anything about it. Horrible service
